$getmatches(<array> <pattern>)
This function treats the items in array as literal strings, and returns a word list of item values such that
for i in ($getrmatches(<array> <string>)) { if (getitem(<array> $i) =~ <pattern>) { echo True } else { echo False } }
only outputs True and enver False. This is the reverse of getrmatches.
The $getmatches() function is used to retrieve all items in the given array that match the given pattern. Similarly, $getrmatches() is used to retrieve all items that match the given string.
