Normally you can only have one set status_mail format, but the default value “ (Mail: %M)” isn't satisfactory when you have set mail 1, which doesn't include the number of emails, so it looks like “ (Mail: )”.

This script creates two new sets, set mail_format1 and mail_format2, and automatically changes set status_mail each time you change set mail to 1 or 2, respectively. It's expected the default values are fine. The script is supposed to be turnkey; just load it and go.
